Chapter 14 - The Master CodeBy midnight, the family was gathered around the fireplace in General Vance's secure tactical room. The four boys sat side-by-side on a thick rug, their small faces lit by the warm glow of the hearth.

Lucas set Arthur’s leather diary on the table beside a high-powered digital scanner.

"My father left a failsafe inside Vance Global’s central mainframe in Zurich," Lucas explained, pointing to the encrypted schematics in the journal. "A master neutralization code. If uploaded to the defense network, it permanently revokes Vance Global's military contractor license and exposes every illegal human trial they ever funded."

"Why didn't your father upload it before he died?" General Vance asked.

"Because the access key isn't a password," Clara said, stepping forward with four small sterile blood vials. "It's a multi-factor biological sequence. The mainframe requires the combined, simultaneous neural-DNA input of Arthur’s true heirs."

She looked down at the quadruplets.

"It requires all four boys," Lucas realized, his face darkening with intense protective concern. "Julian knows this. He doesn't just want to kill them—he needs them brought to the Zurich terminal to unlock the corporate vault."

"Then we don't hide anymore," Ethan said quietly, looking up from his drawing pad.

Everyone in the room turned to look at six-year-old Ethan.

"What do you mean, Ethan?" Lucas asked gently, kneeling beside his son.

"If we keep hiding, Uncle Julian will keep sending bad men with guns," Ethan said, his voice astonishingly clear and logical. "We have to go to Zurich. We have to open the vault ourselves before he does."

Lucas looked at Clara, then at his three other sons—Liam, Mason, and Noah—who were all nodding in solemn agreement with their brother.

"They're right, Lucas," Clara whispered, laying her hand on Lucas's shoulder. "We can't live in the shadows forever. It's time to end Vance Global."
