Chapter 15 - The Unshakable FoundationFriday evening brought a crisp, clear winter sunset that painted the Boston skyline in brilliant shades of violet, gold, and deep indigo.

I returned to my apartment early, turning off my phone and pouring a cup of hot herbal tea. Lily was sitting at the dining table, happily coloring her pictures of crown-wearing cats while a gentle jazz record played softly in the background.
There was no shadow of the past remaining in our home. No fear of eviction notices, no abusive phone calls from demanding relatives, and no haunting memories of a marriage built on lies.
I walked over to the mahogany desk in my study, opened my leather-bound journal to a fresh, clean page, and picked up my pen.
The battle was won. The kingdom was secured. The future was entirely ours.
I pressed the gold nib against the crisp paper and began to write Chapter 16:
“Rule Number One: Never let anyone define your worth by their limitations.
Rule Number Two: When a system is built on fraud, do not negotiate—dismantle it.
May you like
Rule Number Three: Always own the code, the keys, and your own destiny.”
I capped the pen with a satisfying click, listening to the quiet, peaceful hum of a life redeemed.
