Chapter 20 - Unbroken Code

The Texas autumn arrived with crisp morning breezes and brilliant golden sunlight spilling across the Austin skyline.

It was Saturday morning. I stood on the private balcony of my downtown loft, holding a steaming ceramic mug of dark roast coffee, looking out over the city that had watched me grow from a misunderstood teenager into an industry leader.

My phone rested silently on the patio table. There were no frantic family emergencies, no hidden financial burdens, and no artificial expectations to live up to.

My parents were happy and secure in their townhouse, living a peaceful life built on mutual respect. My brother was finally walking his own honest path. And my company was operating at peak performance, scaling higher than I had ever dared to imagine.

I took a slow sip of my coffee, feeling the warm, steady rhythm of absolute peace in my chest.
