Chapter 3 - THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCHVincent tore through the mansion.

He found Emily in the old library.
She wasn't alone.
Dominic was standing over her.
“Get away from her.”
Dominic slowly raised his hands.
“I wasn't hurting her.”
Emily was crying.
Vincent pulled her behind him.
Then Dominic revealed why he had brought her there.
He held an old photograph.
Sofia.
Grace.
And a baby.
Taken three years earlier.
Vincent stared at it.
“That baby…”
Dominic nodded.
“Is yours.”
Vincent's entire world shifted.
Sofia had been pregnant.
And he had never known.
But there was something else.
On the back of the photograph was a handwritten sentence.
If Vincent ever learns about his daughter, Bellamy will kill her.
Vincent looked at Dominic.
“You knew?”
“Yes.”
“For three years?”
“Yes.”
“Why didn't you tell me?”
Dominic's eyes hardened.
“Because I was the reason Sofia disappeared.”
Vincent's hand tightened into a fist.
Dominic finally confessed.
Three years ago, Vincent's father had secretly created a succession plan.
If Vincent died without an heir, control of the Moretti empire would pass to Dominic.
But Sofia discovered the document.
She also discovered something worse.
Vincent's father had been laundering millions through the family charity.
Sofia threatened to expose everything.
Bellamy was the attorney who controlled the legal structure.
Dominic was supposed to make Sofia disappear.
But he couldn't do it.
Instead, he helped her escape.
Vincent stared at him.
“Where is she?”
Dominic shook his head.
“I don't know.”
Then Emily spoke.
“Yes, you do.”
Everyone turned.
The little girl pointed toward the photograph.
“She told me.”
Vincent crouched beside her.
“What did Sofia tell you?”
Emily whispered:
“She said if you ever heard her voice…”
She paused.
“…you had to find the blue door.”
Vincent frowned.
“What blue door?”
May you like
Emily looked toward the library wall.
“Room 317.”
