Chapter 19 - LIGHT IN THE GARDENA month later, Blackwood Estate underwent a complete transformation.
The dark, gloomy corridors were renovated with wide glass windows, letting warm sunlight flood every corner. The deep, damp basement room where Emma and Elena once hid was completely sealed off—converted into a massive subterranean wine collector's vault, while above ground, something new was built.
In the center of the estate’s east wing, a magnificent glass greenhouse was erected, filled with colorful wildflowers, green hedges, and a small wooden playground.
Emma, wearing a bright yellow dress with her pink thỏ backpack on her shoulders, ran across the green lawn, laughing as her puppy chased behind her. Her face was healthy, her cheeks rosy with life.
Elena sat on a garden bench, sipping warm tea, watching her daughter with a soft, peaceful smile.
Alejandro stepped into the greenhouse, holding a small leather case in his hand. He walked over to Emma and knelt down in front of her, just as he had done on the night she saved his life.
"Uncle Alejandro!" Emma cheered, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Alejandro smiled, opening the leather case. Inside lay three brand-new, customized EpiPen injectors, each enclosed in a soft, protective pink case decorated with little rabbit emblems.

"These are special ones made just for you, Emma," Alejandro said softly, placing the case in her hands. "You never have to worry about running out again."
Emma looked at the injectors, then looked up at her uncle’s eyes. "Thank you, Uncle."
